There was nothing left but to accept my punishment for love to live in the city of love the city that also held the man I loved and yet be without him THE JUDGMENT OF PARIS is the second book in R Sharp s The Odyssey duet It picks up where The Fall of Troy left off Spoken in Dual Perspectives How things ended in book 1 for our star crossed forbidden lovers like a crack whore I couldn t wait to get my fix, couldn t wait for this to arrive on my kindle so that I could dive in and once it did that was me signing out of life and devouring this book in record time, transported to Paris the land of love and magic..As we saw in the first book art Professor L o Baudin, up and left abruptly when their affair was on the cusp of becoming public he made his way back to his homeland Paris, leaving a broken and devastated Troian behind Her only aly best friend Kev.Now Troian aka Troy has been offered a chance in a lifetime, to study art abroad in Paris for a semester the exact place where Professor Leo Baudin is teaching Secrets don t stay uncovered for long, and ghosts of Leo s past come knocking, crumbling down the walls of his sought after freedom yet again testing the bond of Leo and Troy like no other But like any love story there were hurts and obstacles to cross Can their love stand the test of time

4 Ma Petite Bataille Stars I haven t been good to you, ma petite My life here may not be good for you Mais la v rit but the truth is no matter how dark it is, the moon still belongs in the arms of the night Beautifully written and set across the magnificent backdrop of Paris, The Judgement of Paris is the conclusion of The Odyssey Duet You need to be reading this if you enjoy a forbidden, age gap romance between a professor and student at its finest This is not a fluffy story Their love story is tumultuous, it s raw and gritty and their expression of passion is nothing less then filthy, rough and demanding. The Judgment of Paris carries on from the heartache and despair that are Professor Leo Baudin and Troian Milanovic With their affair being exposed at the end of The Fall of Troy, Leo has moved back to France, forcing them to move on with their lives from opposites sides of the world But their paths will cross when Troian is accepted into a Parisian study program Once again they find themselves in the same classroom the agony and loneliness of being apart will consume them until the consequences no longer matter The Exact Same He looked like last semester hadn t happened as he walked toward the desk in the front Like he d never met me Like he d never touched me never fucked me Like he never loved me Like he d never hurt me He was the same and I I would never be the same No longer prepared to be apart, they will need to overcome Leo s past that no longer wants to remain hidden and it will do its damnest to keep them divided. If you are looking some for some reading inspiration feel free to check out my website www.mypinkfairytales.com

3.5 stars L o Baudin had come into my life like one of the most famous masterpieces in the world Admired Revered Meant to inspire Meant to be loved But always untouchable Wow, this second part of this duet will blow your mind Don t let my rating fool you I really enjoyed every minute reading this book But I have some minor issues with it, that haven been carried over forward from the first book Questions popping up while reading, where I never found the answer in the book She was the first thing I saw in color for the first time in months I saw the red of her anger The blue of her sadness The orange of her hurt And the brightest white of her last few glimmers of hope Mostly I sadly questioned the love between the characters To me it feels pretty physical and I m afraid both parties mistake love for lust attraction desire Specially with the age gap I personally need something fundamental Something that shows me the actual love Something that really binds them together. However, the author turned it around for me at about 66% into the book I ll never be able to give you what you deserve, ma petite But that doesn t mean I won t give you everything I have Deeper into the story I fell in love and with L o He became aproachable, I could picture him clearly Seeing his scars and his soul I also loved how Troy grew through this journey, especially keeping in mind that she s only 19 Her character came a long way from the first book and it s impressiv how the author handled her character development Our love was a new odyssey And though Troy may have fallen, the battle for my heart was won So overall you can say The Judgment of Paris is a great conclusion in The Odyssey Duet leaving you with the need for .

The Judgment of Paris , the second and final book of Odyssey Duet by Rebecca Sharp was a timeless, poignant and elegant story of poetic love It was a lazy stroll through a gallery or listening to the most beautiful orchestra where your senses will be engaged, stimulated and satisfied But it was a violent battle field at the same time The messy, intense, heartbreaking , chaotic and angsty emotions collide , clash, destroy and resurrect The love, lust, passion and need permeated my heart, broke it into tiny pieces and then healed it in an impossible way.Troy and Leo s story is one of those epic, unforgettable and out of this world love stories those mark you forever This review was very easy as it deserves 50 stars easily but also difficult because I am at loss of words. The forbidden age gap teacher student romance is so much Troy is a mass of anger, need and longing after Leo Baudin, her enigmatic Professor has left suddenly And just when she was coming together, she had to go to Paris to complete her abroad study programme Which was once a dream becomes nightmare Because Leo is there Like a moth attracted to flame, she deliberately put herself in his path only to find out her senseless, all consuming and maddening feelings are reciprocated by Leo too Two shattered and damned souls crash and fuse and celebrate till the darkness from Leo s past resurfaces Now they have to make a choice But what if love is the only choice they should make This connection between Leo and Troy is absolutely stunning and unique It s so difficult to express It s like their despair, desperation, passion and love creeps into my heart and engulfs it I can feel every heart rending, devastating , aching and soul numbing emotion Every touch, every kiss, every word is branded in my heart forever Rebecca Sharp s prose is like poetry which flows effortlessly and drowns all the noise so that all I can feel is the deep words I could highlight the whole book because it was a piece of art A well choreographed ballet A spontaneous adventure A mixture of both A beautifully traumatic love story. The Judgment of Paris by Rebecca Sharp wrecked me, consumed and stole my breath away The writing was simply genius The story hurt like hell yet feel like heaven An unforgettable masterpiece A sensational, seductive and enthralling creation.Received ARC for Honest Review

MY RATING 4 StarsTITLE The Judgment of ParisAUTHOR Dr Rebecca SharpSERIES The Odyssey Duet 2RELEASE DATE 09 July 2019CLIFFHANGER No ARC Kindly Provided for an Honest Review Did you love me when I left you As soon as I put down The Fall of Troy I jumped on this with the quickness of Usain Bolt Make sense Never mind I was already on a high from that cliff hanger, so I wasted no time at all We pick up from where we left Leo and Troy but this time we re in Paris Turned out, life was like a boxing match It knocked me down, kindly danced around and waited for me to get back up, holding until I was steady on my feet before it threw another flattening punch We last left Troy in a bit of a predicament The man she loves had literally run away from her Does she chase after him or let him go But life goes on and so does school When she finds herself as an exchange student at L Ecole des Beaux Arts his territory, one thing is for sure, she s angry and determined to avoid Leo at all costs But we know our girl is a glutton for punishment So will she really But when I turned and saw her a short hour ago it was only God himself who kept me from her Leo is now back home Back to the drama and rumours that he can t seem to escape or shake A dark cloud is following him everywhere His career and reputation are in tatters and there doesn t seem to be much he can do about it Important as these are to him, nothing compares to the heaviness sitting on his heart The longing he has for the woman he loves that he can t have that he walked away from and broke in the process He wants her back but try as he might, he can t see a way back to her So when he walks in his class one day and his blues collide with his almonds, once again his world tilts at its axis But what will he do The restrictions are still the same, his past remains unchanged he still has nothing to offer her But is that reason enough to stay away or will he throw caution to wind and get his girl back Troy was my home, but there were insurmountable, immortal obstacles that kept me from her I must admit, the first few chapters I was starting to get pissed off at Leo a bit Homegirl was fighting for this man and he was just being a pussy So at some point I thought, LeoDAMMIT THE GIRL WANTS YOU BAGGAGE AND ALL Why do men do that Think they know what s better for us than we do Anyway, so when Leo finally got his shit together and stopped torturing Troy, I thought FINALLY But I knew there was going to be some shit because there is an underlying sense of menace throughout the book You can t shake the feeling of trepidation in the story Even though you re happy that they re finally got their shit together you know AND THEN ME I was not ready for the evilness that these two had to contend with I mean the author gives you a clue as to who s going to cause them some trouble but I was not ready for the kind and magnitude of the trouble that will come their way I mean Troy had fought the fight I did not blame her for what she did I was so happy with how it turned out I must admit I wasn t as engrossed in this one as I was in The Fall of Troy I don t know why But I suspect I d had enough of Leo s shenanigans and I was tired on behalf of Troy I wished he would have fought a bit Every time a curve ball came their way he just stood there while that shit took them out and left the battle to Troy I mean Troy was a trouper For her age she was really mature and had incredible mental and emotional strength It was amazing to see her grown from where she started in the first book I only wish she would have made Leo grovel a bit That man put her through some shit and every time he came back, she didn t put up much of a fight I get she was fused to him, but fuck me.Also, I m at the end of the duet and I still don t know how old Leo was I didn t see his actual age stated anywhere unless I missed it it was just inferred in relation to something e.g he was about twice Troy s age But it doesn t matter It was forbidden enough It goes without saying, if you ve read the fall of Troy you have to read this one If I was still breathing when you left me, then yes, I still loved you.
